A significant feature of our game is the Eye Test vs. Analytics designated E.V.A. It will provide our gamers, who we refer to as coaches, with both observational and advanced metrics to help them make strategic coaching decisions throughout the course of the game.
The eye test will consist of a basketball expert who has extensive experience at the major college and or professional levels. He / she will conduct analysis via the broadcast and Twitter, foregoing the use of analytics and only utilizing observation.
While the pro sports leagues and major college basketball programs rely heavily on advanced metrics, the information is not communicated to fans in real time during live broadcasts.Conversely, our analytics expert will provide data in real time to our gamers (coaches) via the broadcast and Twitter throughout the game. For example, they will communicate to gamers the efficiency of Player A on isolation plays from the left wing and the defensive proficiency of Player B guarding post up plays.
During selected breaks in the action, there will be engaging and compelling exchanges between our two experts debating the efficacy of their information. At the conclusion of the game, our coaches will vote on whether the observational information or advanced metrics was more valuable in helping them make coaching decisions.
