Esports, also referred to as eSports or electronic sports, is an entertainment platform comprised of multiplayer mobile and videogame competitions. Established in the 1980's, Esports has rapidly grown into a global professional sport comprising of multiple leagues, broadcast partnerships with ESPN and TBS, and a viewership of over 250 million.
